1. 1. Purpose of Processing

   LVRC processes personal information only for the purposes listed below. Where the purpose changes, we will obtain separate consent in accordance with PIPA Article 18.

   • Receiving and responding to study inquiries and R&D partnership requests
   • Preparing and delivering quotes and proposals
   • Scheduling and scoping conversations
   • Executing and performing contracts with sponsors

2. 2. Categories of Personal Information Collected

   LVRC collects the following items via the sponsor inquiry form.

   • Required: contact person name, company name, email, phone number, message body
   • Additional for R&D partnership inquiries: engagement type (contract testing / joint research / consortium), project title, project period, funding body (optional)

3. 3. Retention Period

   LVRC retains personal information only for the period required by law or consented to by the data subject.

   • Inquiry and consultation records: 3 years after response completion
   • Sponsor information for contracted engagements: 5 years after contract termination (per applicable law)
   • Display/advertising-related records: 6 months (Electronic Commerce Act)

4. 4. Provision to Third Parties

   LVRC processes personal information only within the scope of the purposes stated in Section 1, and provides personal information to third parties only when permitted under PIPA Articles 17 and 18. LVRC does not currently provide personal information to third parties.

5. 5. Outsourcing of Processing

   LVRC outsources personal information processing tasks as follows. All outsourcing contracts include prohibitions on use beyond the stated purpose, technical and managerial safeguards, and restrictions on sub-outsourcing.

   • Vercel Inc. — website hosting and server infrastructure
   • Resend — sponsor inquiry form email delivery
   • Google LLC — Google Analytics 4 (anonymized site usage analytics)
   • Naver Corp. — Naver Search Advisor (search visibility analytics)

6. 6. Rights of the Data Subject

   Data subjects may exercise the following rights toward LVRC at any time, in writing or by email. LVRC will respond without undue delay.

   • Right to access personal information
   • Right to rectify inaccuracies
   • Right to delete
   • Right to restrict processing

7. 7. Destruction of Personal Information

   When personal information becomes unnecessary — e.g., the retention period has lapsed or the purpose has been fulfilled — LVRC destroys it without undue delay. Electronic records are deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery; paper records are shredded or incinerated.

8. 8. Safeguards

   LVRC implements the following safeguards to ensure the security of personal information.

   • Managerial: internal management plan, periodic staff training
   • Technical: access controls on personal information systems, access-control software, encryption of unique identifiers, security software
   • Physical: access control to server rooms and records storage

9. 9. Cookies and Automated Collection

   LVRC uses cookies to personalize service and analyze usage. Users may permit or block cookies through their browser settings; blocking may limit certain features.

12. 12. Changes to this Policy

    This policy is effective as of the date stated above. Any additions, deletions, or revisions will be posted on this page at least 7 days before they take effect.
